Can anyone help me identify this pot? It looks like the signature line but is a lot shallower (5” for size 30, while my size 28 signature is 6.5”)

Obviously one of the classic series and not a signature model. The signature line has bigger loop handles, thicker concentric circles on the lid. Also this has the older flat design phenolic knob.

It could be a wide round dutch oven, but I’m no expert.

Looks a lot like my wide french oven! We love this kind.

The Le creuset “risotto” pot has straight sides, vs the “wide” or “sauteuse” model, which has slightly flaired sides, but otherwise they’re very close. Yours might be an early iteration of that. It’s a useful pot, as long as you’re not making large quantities that might spill over. I often use mine for side dishes and as a small “saucepan” rather than for traditional Dutch oven dishes. I wish they were more consistent with naming conventions, since I inadvertently ended up with two almost identical pots.
