Dutch oven with large chip on inside enamel cooking surface.

There is a large chunk of enamel maybe dime size on the curved part between the wall and sides on the inside of the pot. Can it be fixed? Worth fixing?

  1. Middle_Name-Danger

There’s no practical way to repair it.

  2. Henrydjp

You can’t fix chipping. In the factory the enamel is sprayed onto the cast iron then baked on into a glass material covering the pot in a 2000 degree F oven.

Since the chip is inside the pot you should get in touch with Le Creuset Customer Service and have them inspect the pot. It may be covered under the limited lifetime warranty for a full pot replacement.
