Gloss White has White Interior but Matte White has Cream Interior? Why?
I wrote the text but it didn’t show up after posting. I’m only curious to the forum’s thoughts on why LC uses different interiors on their white pots? The Glossy White pots have white enameled interior and the Matte White (Cotton) pots have the common Cream enameled interior.
I’ve included pics from the LC site showing both versions and some from Williams Sonoma as well as my own 4.25qt Deep Sauté Pan which is Matte (Cotton) White with the Cream Enameled interior. Seems logical that the Matte Cotton White would have white interior as well? Any definitive feedback as to why this is?
Matt White (Cotton) is one of their regular current colours and comes with the standard sand enamel; I’ve got the same on my Cotton stoneware mugs. Gloss White was an outlet special, priced lower than the other colours; it first came out in 2009, at which time they also had an all-white fine porcelain range.
