I have a couple lids that were unfortunately knocked around in transport and now have small chips. What’s the best way to prevent these from getting larger and spreading?
Not an expert here, but I would recommend making sure to avoid thermal shock, aka changing the temperature of the piece rapidly. So DON’T preheat them without food/water, DO heat them slowly over low or medium heat, and then after use let them cool down a bit before washing with warm water (don’t plunge them into cold water!)
And then I would avoid scrubbing the damaged areas with anything abrasive.
I would contact LC and see if they will let you buy a new lid.
