My first attempt at French onion soup. Not the best but definitely didn’t disappoint.

I suggest using some fried shallots for garnish* adding an extra crunch. 😋 reference* chef myself. 👌 try slicing onion differently.
Smaller LC pots ROCK. They have so many uses especially for smaller batches when it’s for a side or a single meal.
Things I’ve found that help so French Onion:
-As many different types of onions as you can
-A dash of wine, red or sherry.
-some, but not too much, beef stock
-letting those onions cook on low a Looooong time before adding moisture back in.
