what kind of oil do you use for the nonstick pans?

in the manual it says to take a paper towel and rub some oil on the cooking surface before first use. and that you might need to do it every once in a while.

is it just olive oil?

Any neutral flavor high smoke point oil, canola, safflower, soybean, avocado, or vegetable oil, etc.

I used canola. A really thin coat on the clean pan, then rinse it off under hot water and dry with a paper towel.

Last me check my copy, that’s what I remember…
The Toughened Nonstick says to rub the cooking surface with vegetable or corn oil using a paper towel then rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly.

I use a mix from Wesson (best blend) canola and vegetable in all my cooking.
